Offering Extended Care & Structured Transitional Living

Quail Hill is a privately owned home for women who are seeking a secure, compassionate and holistic place to recover from drug & alcohol addictions, healing for the body, mind and spirit. Our home is located in Southern California, within the beach communities of Orange County.

Our goal at Quail Hill is to promote recovery to every woman who truly, desires positive and lasting changes in their lives.

We offer a highly structured and supervised setting and have available to our residents some of Southern California's most highly regarded and experienced liscensed practioners to assist with underlying issues or co-disorders such as; depression, aniexty, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, social phobias, bi-polor and trauma (pstd). Addressing these we believe are equally important to staying sober and drug free.

We believe relapse is avoidable and unnecessary if....you understand getting sober and drug free is just the begining. Alcoholism and addictions did'nt happen over night, nor does recovery, there is much work ahead and we are here to support you and show you the way. Give yourself the gift of time and commitment, we suggest a minimum stay of at least 90 days.

We wish you sucess in your recovery!

  • In Southern California alone, there are hundreds of "Recovery Treatment Programs" or "Drug and Alcohol Rehabs." Southern California has been ranked the second most popular place in the United States for individuals to seek help, for their drug and alcohol addictions.
  • Many individuals and /or family members, understandably confused by the vast numbers of Treatment Rehabs, may feel overwhelmed, adding to already, existing feelings of urgency and desperation.
  • Sadly, individuals and family's fall vulnerable to that confusion and make poor choices. Often individuals spend years, in and out of dozens of rehabs, spending inmeasurable amount of dollars.
  • The more expensive the treatment program means very little .... You don't always get what you pay for. Likewise, the larger the facility simple means more patients to care for and the real possibility of getting lost in the crowd...although alcoholics and addicts often share similar stories, their underlying issues differ. Quality time, one on one therapy, is of great importance for successful recovery.
  • Of upmost importance a treatment center should be drug and alcohol free. Smuggling in drugs and alcohol happens...more often then you would like to believe. There must be safety, security and structure.
  • If individual, and group therapy and especially dual diagnosis treatment  is part of the treatment plan, ask who conducts these...a licensed professional, or a newly recovered client with little or no training. As alarming as it sounds, often newly sober patients completing a 30 day program are hired on, as part of the staff.
  • Lastly, consider whether you want a Treatment Center which is gender specific ... only men, only women, or co-ed. Relationships among two newly sober individual is a slippery slope, a precurser for relapse.
  • We encourage you to be a smart consumer, make an informed choice, decide what  kind of care and environment best fit your needs.
Do it Once... and Do it right
